And in all honesty, I really dont think any of the RITM crew is extremely well off. Most lilkely dont make a ton of cash unless they do actual live performances which are relatively few and far between these days..

having said that I agree he shouldnt have to pay for his injuries since he was apparently screwed by the promoter/gov't.. and that asshole that threw the bottle should be the one responsible for paying.. but nowt wrong with having a benefit to help an EDM icon raise a bit of cash

If this man doesn't have a pot to piss in or is a millionaire makes no difference at all to anything - he got up there to entertain the people in front of him and left the stage without one of his eyes. That makes me feel fuckin sick i have to say.
Throwing glass is disgusting - but then throwing anything with enough force has the potential to hurt someone too. What goes through the head of someone like that is beyond me and i don't begrudge him a penny of any benefit gig on the strength of what he has earned in the past - that is backward.
Moreso the gig may have raised awareness of what happened more than the incident itself did so that can only be good. You never know it may even safe someone else's eye one day??
Wishful thinking maybe as there are a hell of a lot of idiots out there i'm afraid.........

It wasn't malice, it was anger at people who have to find a low point in everything. I found that post very malicious. I It really doesn't matter how their finances are, they aren't asking for a free handout, they are offering a great gig which people can choose to go to if they want. It just happens that it will benefit someone who richly deserves something good in their life at the moment.
