yea man now I remember the word NOOSPHERE. Another incredible facet of the mysterious quantum world is super-positioning. There's actually a photograph taken of a particle that is simultaneously in 2 positions at once. Just wicked.

These theorist's fears with the LHC is that the black holes will only be traveling ~9 km/s which is slow enough to get caught in the earth's gravitational field. Unable to escape the earth's pull, the black hole would take approximately 50 months (by their calculations) to consume the matter of the entire planet.

EDIT: Holy shit I just realized that if you believe in the Mayan calendar, exactly 50 months from Oct. 21, 2008 is December 21, 2012, the day their calendar ends. Coincidence???

Either way this is gonna be some sick shit.
DUDE, thats pretty insane. I'm currently reading 2012 The Return of Quetzcotl, and it amazes me how many synchronicities are around that date of dec 21 2012. Personally, I prefer a more optimistic view of the apocalypse, but death by black hole is certainly a possibility, if not a plausability.
