I'd go with Kruder and Dorfmeister.

Their K&D Sessions CD is one of my favourite cd's ever, and it's all remixes they have done and mixed together on 2 cd's. Highly recommended.

Their DJ Kicks disc is very good as well.

I think their might be a couple of solo sets by either of the duo floating around here on the p+r forum if I remember correctly.

Also I think you could classify Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz series of mix cd's downtempo and trip hop. There are 6 in the series sofar I think, there are some good quality tunes right there.

                    Re: Trip Hop Djs

Trip hop is more along lines of Massive Attack and Tricky as far as production goes.

Dj's I'd recommend early stuff from Shadow, not too many people really play too much of it anymore from what I gather.

But from time to time can find people like Dj Cam and Vadim going into that sound during parts of their sets.

So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:

                            1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
                            2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
                            3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
                            4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

                            Am I close here?
