I'm OK with gridlock. We do the most damage when one party has unbridled power, unchecked by the other side, regardless of who is in charge. Not sure I see the relationship between voting independent and that, though...

For the record, though, we've had two years of filibusters, following 6 years of unchecked power. The Dems never had the balls to filibuster, and that's all the GOP has done since they lost the majority. Google it.
