    Question about joining files

I've got like 80 gigs of music and I'm trying to consolidate some files. Is there something to use to join all these part1's, 2's, and 3's together? Have learned alot from everyone here at ms and any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Open the files in a program like Soundforge or whatever people use these days (I'm sure you can find a freware equivalent), match up the wave forms, and save new file.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

u need to rename the ends of the files with .001,.002,.003

          eg:-
          Jimmy Van M - Live @ Life Concerthall, Queretaro, Mexico - 30-08-08 - Pt1.mp3
          Jimmy Van M - Live @ Life Concerthall, Queretaro, Mexico - 30-08-08 - Pt2.mp3

          becomes

          Jimmy Van M - Live @ Life Concerthall, Queretaro, Mexico - 30-08-08.mp3.001
          Jimmy Van M - Live @ Life Concerthall, Queretaro, Mexico - 30-08-08.mp3.002

          and then run hjsplit.

the join is never perfect like you might be able to manage using soundforge.

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

                    I use this one

Its got its faults but its not bad. You can join 3 tracks together at once with the free download. If you want to do more than 3 at 1 time you have to buy it. $20

Thanks for the info and for the amusement Dhar, love the Hasselhoff pic. I have HJ split just don't want to ruin the sets by joining them. Will try what you use Chunky and see how it works. Don't mind spending the $ because I don't plan on slowing down so I want to be able to organize everything. Thanks again and I love this fucking site.
