dont see why they would have specified the 3rd disc as unmixed if they were all going to be released unmixed.. we can hope though

Great way to express the past, present, and future of dance music, heard a few of these at Vanguard, Disc 2 will be mental.

            1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
            2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
            3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
            4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

            Am I close here?

I would imagine they were just trying to differentiate between the fact the first two discs are mixed by Digweed and the third isnt..

You might be a little disappointed about that, the label aren't stupid and have put edits from the first two discs on one cd for promotional purposes. Nifty idea I think, and will certainly upset the bloggers and downloaders.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

                              These CDs are awesome

received my signed copy in the post this morning from the bedrock shop.

Highlights for me so far include the charlie may remix of Dust, Kazell's remix of Chilling Moments, James Talks remix of Save Me

I was a bit worried that the cds wouldnt flow too well since its a bunch of remixes submitted to the dj rather than tracks chosen by the dj, but both mixed cds work really well.

Gonna listen to the unmixed CD next...

Wish john had played a few more of these at matter on friday night, but the night was pretty amazing as it was to be honest!
