if you go to guitar center and buy a package (2 turntables and a mixer), they'll usually hook you up.

i got two technics and a djm-300 for under $1000 brand new... thats pretty good. i think after tax, including the needles it came to about $1000.

Dayum!! If you're talking Technics with ortofon needles I'd say this is an incredible price... especially if it came with a mixer too. I'm sure it was a shitty mixer but when you're first beginning, you don't need that nice of a mixer!

actually it came with standard $40 shure needles. the mixer is top notch, but only two channel and no effects. very basic, but it gets the job done for a beginner. i have since stolen jib's djm-600 and kept it as my own.

thats right steve. you will never see your precious mixer again.

As soon as I get my shite back together, 20 days in Europe. 5 in Ibiza (18 hours @ Space SOBER) and 15 in London take their toll. Worth it though.

I am sure the price is $399 - brand new, with warranty, free shipping + no tax probably. It doesn't get any better than that.
