    nostalgia

I just downloaded Judge Jules Live @ Seriously Slinky, Milton Keynes 2/7/2000. This mix is definitley the funniest thing i've heard since, well, probably 5/7/2000. I used to go to godskitchen in birmingham every week in 1999/2000 and i thought Judge Jules was well cool . Its pretty funny how your tastes change.
funniest track on this mix so far is the one that goes "We gonna work it out". The way it kicks in after the 2 minute breakdown and build up nearly made me fall off my chair. Am i the only one who liked this n the day and now can't understand how on earth i was ever so stupid????

I liked Kimball Collins and Oakenfold, so I know what you mean. You gotta start somewhere, though... eh?

[speaking quietly] Oakenfold did used to be good... well, until about 6 years ago.

C'mon folks - Jules wasn't always crap. He was one of the pioneers on Kiss 94 FM when they were a class pirate act (12+ years ago) and he used to play some good quality early house. Then he went to Radio 1 and things went downhill...

Jules joined Radio 1 in 1997. I saw him the year before and he was at the bottom of the hill then. Fair dues though, he was there at the beginning...

The first event I ever attended was headlined by DJ Icey.
