the tarkan set is a rebroadcast, i think its one of his last "no smoking!" sets, back in july... btw. why doesn't tarkan have new shows?

Hey, I will email Tarkan and ask if he can pass along a tracklist, or at least ID that one track. He likes to keep his playlists veiled in mystery, which I think is pretty silly It's a disservice to the artist that wrote the track and to the listeners that are curious, know what i mean?

By the way, in case people did not know, part 2 is my brand new live recording from Anatomy Nightclub in Cleveland from 2 weeks ago.

Yeah, Tarkan is one of my favorite DJŽs overall, but I canŽt agree with that "no tracklisting" policy, or even understand it. Anyway, heŽs still great in my book

IŽm on DarinŽs mailing list so I always get these, IŽve been steadily and slowly turning some peeps here in Portugal into your work, ever since that amazing "Mirror Universe" mix you did.

The whole mix is brilliant but I really would like to know who that particular track is. I'm hoping I can pick it up on Beatport. I can see Tarkan wanting to keep some anonymity and have his mixes stay uniquely "Tarkan" but I also agree that it is a disservice. I guess Tarkan can do what he wants though. I'm not the type of person who salivates until they get a complete tracklist but when I hear a good track I want to add to my collection, it helps to know who it is (and I'm sure the artists would appreciate the sales/recognition as well). Any help would really be appreciated.

Needless to say Darin, you really delivered in your mix. Digging that Dinka mix and the Costa Brava mix is oh so sweet.

Thanks man, it was just kind of spur of the moment I guess, since it was a live set. Wouldn't exactly say it's my best work but it was fun to see people's reactions. I bought the Daniel Portman track like the day before and just dropped it.

There's a far better mix I did for the month of September for Python's show on Frisky Radio. It's floating around the internet somewhere, I think you would really dig that much more. I'll grab you the link if you're interested.

LOL, that's pretty funny.

I haven't posted the set on my website yet, I'm still hanging out in San Francisco. LoveFest 2008 was awesome! I got lots of great pictures from last Saturday.
