older dave seaman CDs

gotta say i found myself listening to the following without realizing my car's cd player was 1/2 dave seaman

his renaissance worldwide: london CD --

amazing, features chicane, lamb's gorecki, nalin and kane, lustral, RITM remix of garbage, underworld's cowgirl, Pako and more

and his singaport cd -- fucking amazing set. breaks b4 they pwere fashionable to add to sets, opens with drunk as a monk with the D-tour vocals, has hybrid, incision, freefal's skydive, starecase remix , and some dj shadow in there. tunes left and right

and his first GU, which is pretty damn good, not like those two, but good.

after that, i never really dug any of his sets, but these old CD's are fecking great.

agree 100%.

ALL of the GU's pre Deep Dish moscow, are 100% quality.

danny howells seems like the only one releasing good 2cd compilations anymore.

i will ALWAYS buy a nick warren CD> the most versatile DJ on the planet. while diggers and sarsha are the prog boys, nick can riup the shit outta a breaks, prog, trance, or even a hip hop club. the most consistent DJ out there, including john. (ppl forget john's electro and uber minimal days)

if you like that one try and find Rennaisance 4. Two Dave Seaman cds and one by Ian Ossia. Absolutely blinding!

His older sets & CDs are fecking lush!!!!!!!! Nice guy too, he was soooooooo nice when I ran into him @ Plastic Fantastic back in the day. He's a sneaker head and into uber cool & rare clothes.

I only listened to his Renaissance comps. Back in the day he ruled the scene with them. Seaman, Warren, Ossia, Oakenfold ... those were the DJs ... Sasha and Digweed were around but never put out as much as the aforementioned,

it sucks, the worldwide cd i is scratched heavily towards the end and i lost about 4 tracks b4 the last two.

and i just SEARCHED for that ian ossia CD>.....no where to be found.. man i loved that. i gotta start saving to my harddrive....

It was always hit or miss with dave seaman for me. But recently he has been kicking ass(his Therapy Sessions Vol. 4 was superb). Made me bust out his older mixes when i saw him in houston this year.

Renaissance America was a bad ass mix, and i LOVE GU Cape Town, thats a great melodic mix.
