I really like the way that sounds....well we proved all the doubters wrong...a team with barely 40 million payroll beat the powerhouse teams to win the toughest division in sports....
LETS GO RAYS!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say, hats off to the Rays for lasting through some key injuries and also down the stretch. It was nice to battle for the East with a team other than the Yanks.
I think the Red Sox are going to have a difficult time trying to beat the Angels in the first round. I think the Rays have a good chance of beating the Central winner as long as they continue to play well.
If the Red Sox and Rays meet in the ALCS it will definitely be an interesting series.
the rays and thier coaching staff are the story of they year unless lou gets it back to chi town on thier 100th anny. but the rays, run all the way to the title with nothing but kids playing together hard, and all of them doing it, sure longoria is a plpayer, but they all had top moments. everyone chipped in. the upstart boys who no one gave a shot, just held dominant all season, withstanding a few runs at em by the sox and yanks. gutsy team gonna be a real problem in the next few weeks. i hope they get to beat the angels and the best manager in the game soscia. would be sumin to see in the ALCS. the veteran team from LA vs the punky kids from tampa.
i woulda loved to see the twins knock out the sox, too little too late. now we can watch peter gammons try to get a red sox reference in at every possible moment pandering to thier classless fans. GO RAYS for AL.
go cubs!
your life is an occasion, rise to it.
Join My Chant. new mix. april 09. dirty fuck house.
download that. deep shit listed there
I'm deffo happy for the Rays, but it would have been for them to clinch by winning a game instead of giving up 8 home runs in two days and having the red sox lose for them to clinch the division, lol
this season though has turned me into a baseball fan as far as watching Tampa, still cant be arsed to sit and watch anyone else play
^^^same here. i can only watch the rays. I am very excited about this thrusday...downtown st. pete should be jumping...
I heard upton kazmir and cliff floyd hit a club in downtown st pete after they clinched making the playoffs last week....called push ultra lounge
...what is the deal with that place...seems to be poplular with all the celebtrities....in fact simon rice was there friday filming 4 some dj reality show.
is it a kool club or do they play cheezy dance or hiphop
its an ultra lounge, lol, nuff said.. its full of pretentious people in suits and shit.. they tried to have a few decent dj's but the house heads know better than to go there..loads of people, no one dancing, and no vibe.
the restaurant attached to it has gone out of business twice.. nice venue, shite mgmt, and the owners just sold it too
congrtas Steve & Chuck, your boys have had an awesome year, even though I'm a Red Sox & Dodger fan, I'd be rather pleased to see a Rays - Cubs world series match-up.
^^thanks!! we have been hurting here the last 10 years....the worst team in the whole league every year since there existence except for one year when we won 70 games with pinella and we finished second to last.
i am going to live it up...going blow outta work earlyto hit the rays rally party in downtown st. pete tomrorow...
