Do you even realize how many calls the Rays have gotten screwed on this year??? in fact they got screwed in the ninth with that safe call at first when we clearly tagged him out.

Yes I actually meant to add that too but forgot, they did get screwed on that 9th inning call but it worked out for them in the end and DAMN ChiSox swing the freaking bats, it's not like they were not close and the UMP, as generous as he was, was calling like that all night.

the rays and thier coaching staff are the story of they year unless lou gets it back to chi town on thier 100th anny. but the rays, run all the way to the title with nothing but kids playing together hard, and all of them doing it, sure longoria is a plpayer, but they all had top moments. everyone chipped in. the upstart boys who no one gave a shot, just held dominant all season, withstanding a few runs at em by the sox and yanks. gutsy team gonna be a real problem in the next few weeks. i hope they get to beat the angels and the best manager in the game soscia. would be sumin to see in the ALCS. the veteran team from LA vs the punky kids from tampa.

i woulda loved to see the twins knock out the sox, too little too late. now we can watch peter gammons try to get a red sox reference in at every possible moment pandering to thier classless fans. GO RAYS for AL.

would be nice.. but let me say.. "veteran".. sure LA has some key vets. but the starting lineups rooks (like in game 2) are a good 6. (everyday players)

and all these guys (with the exception of McDonald) contributed to be in this spot; albeit with that extra push in the 2nd half with Ramirez.. but all season long.. The Dodgers were not out of it. LA and AZ were the top teams head to head year long, never trailing by more than 4 or 5 gb.

I dont see that happening again, especially in the play offs, a major suspension could mean the end of the season for one of the teams.. the only scenario I can see it may be if boston is getting owned by tampa and are down something like 3 games to none.

having said that, I would be very surprised if this series doesnt go 7 games

red sox, and i see em alot, are punks. remember when that bitch varitek left his mask on when fightin arod. they're all punks from back in pedro's days to now. i wanna see someone knock papelbon in the skull and make both his eyes go crooked. he reminds of a slightly retarded person who functions, but still cant live alone.. and ortizz, that is the missing link between apes and humans. its a shome too, cuz lester, francona and even becket are class acts. yeah beckett is nasty, but he carries himself with class, and francona is amazing.

I'm not a redsox fan by any stretch of the imagination, and I hope the Rays crush them, but I will say I enjoy watching Beckett pitch.. his demeanor on the mound is something all young pitchers should study.. always seems so relaxed but has the nastiest stuff when he is on

If by some chance Tampa does lose the series, I really hope LA beats Philly just to see the Manny v Boston soap opera unfold

I enjoy watching Beckett pitch.. his demeanor on the mound is something all young pitchers should study..

i enjoy watching Balfour's demeanor on the mound!! That guy is great...he needs to be the freaking closer already, wheeler is not the answer
