biden kept putting words in palin's mouth and stating false claims knowing most people wouldn't know any better... sneaky guy. or just a typical politician. i thought palin could have made it much more interesting if she would have followed suit and done the same thing to the obama/biden campaign. she doesn't know any better though. i found the whole debate frustrating.Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?Comment

one of my all-time favourite pwnages. look how bad it's gotten when you cant even be civil when calling someone an asshole with all politeness.you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky
it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

Re: VP Debate Thread
You just gotta love all the folksy down-home talkin' that she does. "You bethca, I'm a good VP candidate, and gol' darnit, people like me!" [giggle]
Not sure if I read this next point here or not, but someone in Alaska (government I think) said Palin, when asked what color the sky was (hypotheically), could spend like (golly gee!) 45 seconds telling you. And when she was done about half the people would be like, "Isn't that just the greatest thing!!" - in awe of her. In awe of what you might ask? I have no idea. -bless her heart!!
I knew McCain had a history of being exploitive with women, but this is just ridiculous. He is using this woman (primarily for her looks & charisma), and certainly not for any original thought she's ever had. If they are elected, this symbolically could set back women's rights two or three generations. Ms. Palin "would" be elected for sexist reasons obviously, primarily because her only assets are looking and sounding good. Being able to think and reason are no longer prerequisites for the office of President. Partial memorization of 3" x 5" notecards (see the debate) is all that is important.
She almost even makes Bush look intellectually curious. Hey, now that is really saying something. Didn't we just have a President who proved that lack of intelligence is more damaging than actual intelligence when it come to being President. If we won't learn from history, we really are doomed!!
KEEP THIS PUCK OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE!!

They know that a lot of Americans, not necessarily a majority, vote on looks alone. These people dont really care about their views and whatnot, they just want to see someone in office that closely resembles themselves.
Problem is, once they do get elected, at least in recent years, their policies are completely moronic and they are hurting America in the long run.
Democrats, on the other hand, bank on the hope that people will keep an eye on debates and really learn about their candidates. They cater more to the intellectuals that pay somewhat attention to politics."pics or stfu" - R.I.P. Steve "Jibgolly" JamesComment

Republicans are very smart in getting elected.

bush didnt help his party at all when he let new orleans flood for weeks. not 1 black person at the RNC, all of them were middle aged, old white men with funny hats.

Re: VP Debate Thread
Sarah Palin, if I wanted to live in a theocracy I would move to Iran, Iraq, or Pakistan - thanks. Perhaps the Sarah Palins and Pat Robertsons of the world need a history lesson on the Puritans and why they sailed across a brutal ocean in order to escape the heavy hand of Mother England. Then again, they have already forgotten the lessons of the Bush administration. But to assume that they forgot these lessons would be presumptuous, as that would presume they had ever learned them in the first place. The luxury of ruling by ideology is that one can virtually ignore reality by dweling in one's own virtual reality. IGNORANCE REALLY IS BLISS FOR THESE PEOPLEI like your Christ.

Re: VP Debate Thread
dude, african americans have been the most reliably democratic voting block for years. Are there people that are voting for Obama because he's black? Yes. Are there people voting for McCain rather than voting for the black guy? Yes. Neither of this changes the fact that something like 85% of African Americans would have voted for any reasonable candidate on the Democratic side regardless, just as most white Republicans that vote with the GOP do so for reasons that have nothing to do with race.
I guess you are partially correct, though, to the extent that I think voting for Obama is better for my wallet in the long term. I'd rather pay more on a lot than a little on a little, and McCain's policies will not take the economy in the right direction, IMO. A strong economy benefits everyone -- it's not a zero sum game.Comment
