Twins vs. White Sox...one game playoff...TONIGHT!!!

After 162 games the AL Central Division comes down to a game playoff tonight between my Twins and the damn White Sox! By virtue of a coin-toss (wtf?) the Twins travelled to Chicago last night and are ready to go from US Cellular Field at 6:37pm. The Twins are sending young Nick Blackburn to pitch against John Danks. Both pitchers are young and have had decent years for their respective clubs. Blackburn has been borderline awful down the stretch so I must admit I am concerned, but hopeful.

So I got home and started making dinner, and moments after I turn the T.V on... Jim parks one deep center. Nice.

Yeah, I'm stoked to see Ken in it this time around, I'd like to see him win a World Series too. I remember longing for it back when I lived in Seattle and when Griffey was on fire with the Mariners; while they had that rampaging lineup with Tino, Edgar, Buhner, A-rod, Johnson and Griffey. Sigh..

Mos definitely looking forward to this years playoffs forsures though, and to see Ozzie Guillen raging up some more!

well I have taken a few days to get over it...and now I feel a bit better. wow that was a great game! Thome's blast was a fucking moonbeam...I could not believe where that bastard landed. that had to have been the longest HR ever hit at the Cell.

Good luck Sox...I will be rooting for the Rays to send ya home quickly!

on the upside the Twins have a load of young talent and can only get better while a lot of the White Sox players are getting old in a hurry. See ya next year Pale Hose...
