Westerunie—currently one of the hottest venues in Amsterdam—has been hosting CLICK nights on regular basis for over a year now. Due to its convincing success, CLICK will go more regular in 2009 with a monthly edition, promising to live up to its high quality artistic and entertainment standards. After the packed and oh-so-memorable June edition, CLICK is coming back during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event. The concept will unite three different organizations that click musically and conceptually: Amsterdam-based bookings agencies AD Bookings and Exprezz, alongside the Rotterdam-bread EC Records.

Due to an overwhelming international response, ADE starts this year a day earlier—already on Wednesday. The day after, in the week that knows of no usual rules, CLICK also delivers an unusual treat: an extra long permit that lets you dance till 6 AM.

ROOM 1, hosted by AD BOOKINGS, brings artists that need little introduction: UK-bread techno guru THE ADVENT with his unprecedented LIVE set—expect fresh material including recent releases on Adam Beyer's Drumcode and his own Kombination Research label; Swedish achiever JOEL MULL with his convincing minimal-oriented modern techno set, including his recent gems on Cocoon and Steve Bug’s Audiomatique label; the Dutch favourite STEVE RACHMAD with his characteristic crossover of Detroit and modern techno, promoting his recent Delsin and EC Records releases as well as a remix of Samuel L Session's hit ‘Can you relate;’ powered by a representative of the new promising generation of Dutch artists, WOUTER DE MOOR.

ROOM 2, hosted by EC RECORDS PRESENTS, invites the infamous UK duo LAYO & BUSHWACKA!. Although rarely performing in The Netherlands, they travel all over the Globe since the 90’s, and perhaps even more intensely since their 2002 Top Ten hit ‘Love Story.’ The duo also holds residencies at clubs like The End London and Space Ibiza, as well as runs the successful Olmeto Records with an impressive roster of remixers such as Loco Dice, Green Velvet, Jesse Rose and Unkle. The Dutch techno and house hero MICHEL DE HEY hosts the room, demonstrating his Electronic Consumer vision both as an artist and as a label owner. Aside from EC Records, he also runs HEY! Records on which he will release a mix CD called “No Nonsense” during ADE. One of EC Records recording artists, WARREN FELLOW will give masterly support in a dynamic back 2 back set with Nijmegen's DARKO ESSER.

ROOM 3 is hosted by EXPREZZ, which presents its full agency roster. PAUL JAY, CELLIE and ANGELO are solid names in the history of Dutch house. Their performances warp us back in time. ZOMAR and M-CECILE bring a mix of soulful house. Furthermore, VINCENZO DE BULL, STEFANO RICHETTA and DJ/producer MAKCIM (Remote Area) will rock with their finest house, minimal and tech-house tunes of this generation.

Special lineup also means special surprises: the first 100 paying guests entering the venue will get a promo CD with a selection of sets by the artists performing at CLICK that night. Come and dance with us!
