That's probably why he intentionally doesn't look at Obama very often during these debates, he's afraid of what might slip out, such as "that one."

        woops, sorry my friends!

It was fun while it lasted...

Definitely a lot more attacks on each other this time around, almost to the point where it became annoying.

I really wanted to hear more solutions for the economy, and was kind of disappointed with how they only talked about their tax policies and kept explaining how we landed in the position that we are in today. I sided with Obama more so than McCain on several issues like the war (and it being a HUGE expense), health care reform, and energy. But with the intention of pushing biases & the annoying bashing to the side I think they both held their ground fairly equally. I don't think that this debate changed too many people's minds.

mccain was very childlike, not very professional at all.

with all his little snide remarks and jumping in at random times with his "comedic" remarks, didnt like that at all.

^yeah, I totally agree with you on that

I liked how he'd run over 30+ seconds every other question and then pull out some witty remark about how he knows to stop speaking when Brokaw waves his hands! I mean come on, that's not gonna score you any more votes! Show some respect!

ALSO, what was with all of the notes McCain was jotting down? As soon as he came on the floor he grabbed his sharpie and started writing down hella shit! Was he writing down a bunch of acronyms for the points he needed to remember for the debate?

I don't think Obama wrote a single thing down but was very well composed as usually and completely on top of his game imo.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

Boring and stagnant, come on people, we want to know WHAT are they going to do
We've heard enough of what they think of each others policies and records
We want real solutions, economic plans, new laws, just give us something REAL

and I agree, I think Mcain real side is starting to show up, a very intolerant, negative and erratic kind of gramps

Neither one of these clowns has "REAL" solutions... I would recommend that you expect nothing but the status quo...

More talk & less action... Oh, and higher taxes...

not really anything we can do about that.... we have an almost 2 Trillion debt, how else are we going to make that go away?

you actually think Washington is going to underspend? hah..

cutting taxes is going to do nothing but increase the debt.
