1- John Digweed- Bedrock Bday party
2- Behrouz's @ WMC
Then Sasha Thanks you mix and couple other sets can follow.
The cunts at the Egyptian post still did not deliver my Sasha Invol2ver esd edition set (since Sept) WANKERS, so i can not judge it.^^What dosen't Kill you make you stronger ^^Comment

Well actually it was the 320 kbs versions of 1997's JJJ (Sasha & Digweed's NE Tour) and Sasha 1999 The Rub - which Chunky put up.
But I suppose the 2 x Spring Tour releases weren't bad, Sasha's Amnesia set was cool and the Bedrock Easter Special was sweet too.

Sorry that its all rather unpredictable - but nothing much else caught my attention, no new groundbreaking DJ's - Van M kept a low profile, 40oz has still lost weight and needs to beef things up a bit, plus I'm still rather pissed off that Garcia and Hernan's shows got pulled ... in fact, if Garcia goes any further underground he'll hit molton lava.sigpicSimonR

This is my Top 2 in 2008.
My fav artist album in 2008 came to my surprise from Sasha. His Invol2ver album is just the most complete artist album I heard this year and it's definately one that grows with the number of times you listen to it and it has more to offer than a quick look at it might reveal. I also really digged the Hybrid - Soundsystem 01 album a lot. First CD is nice and chilling and 2nd one picks it up nicely..some really good productions on it from guys like Andy Page, Spooky and Massive Attack.
I heard a lot of awesome tracks in 2008 but the ones that come to my mind directly and stand out from the rest were Ralph Falcon - The Dig (Radio Slave remix) and Subtellite from Timo Maas....what a korker and I am happy it was produced from a German fellow.
Best mixes I heard this year were without doubt Hernan's Essential mix and the mix Chloé has made for our 6th birthday this Year. I have listened to both of them in various conditions and they always delivered.
Best live gigs were Underworld @Cocoon on their last date of the tour where they played longer than on any other gigs during their Oblivion with bells tour and Paul Brtschitsch's live PA in the Robert Johnson club in Offenbach. This guy is just great live experimentating a lot and always an experience.Comment
