Re: haha sarah found out.
er i know. i googled your the post above and read it.
there's a difference between emergency contraceptives to prevent pregnancy and a foresnsic rape examination to collect crime-scene evidence in accordance with conducting an investigation and pursuing a prosecution of the perp.
your first comment went to, presumably, the emergency contraception bit (which i said, or at least have heard, has now been debunked in favor of palin). your second comment went to something completely different; Palin sliding funds away from payment of forensic rape examinations, which appears to be what's happened on the budget, but am cautious to say that the city wouldn't compensate the victim (most places have such provisions, and its difficult to discern, without more, whether Wasilla is included). Still though, forensic rape examinations do not result in '9 months of unwanted pregnancy'. They result in justice.
Like i said, if the forensic rape kits involve emergency contraceptoin, I'd freely admit that I'm wrong. And hearing how fundamentalist that city is, I'm guessing that some women wouldn't even pursue emergency contraception incident to a sexual assault.
A drop in a barrell of water does not sway anyone, but they do add up.
one last thought: if in fact she tried to ban emergency contraceptives, she'd be some of the few christians who are actually consistent with thier belief at where life 'begins'. i find irony in this as most christians have this 'rape-exceptoin'. At least Palin stands up for the rape babies. (stealing an old Andy Andrist line there...)
btw, come to this forum more often. plz untz untz
