I know but remember some rant someone on the GU borad went into about a 10 CD GU Twilo set, that came in a pink box. It was CLASS.Comment

Re: Report : Digweed @ Bedrock 10th Birthday (Matter)
nope. was intended (idea pitched, crew showed up) to be a 6 CD set. back in day, even the GU crew admitted to recording a night there. but then again, on the interweb.. strange things occur.
back to business...
doesnt digweed realize how much money he could make releasing a multi - CD copy of this nights set. easily a 2-3 million sales capability.your life is an occasion, rise to it.
Join My Chant. new mix. april 09. dirty fuck house.

Re: Report : Digweed @ Bedrock 10th Birthday (Matter)
Lol, I actually sent him a thank you email via you tube yesterday as realised that the vast majority of vids are his including that one with Mouth to Mouth on it. How the hell does he just stand there and record all those awesome moments?[quote=lilsensa '] 'Who wants to sample size my ball sack?'Comment

Re: Report : Digweed @ Bedrock 10th Birthday (Matter)
Highlight for me was Apollo 440, thought Diggers lost it later on (around 430 - 5ish til i left at 7). Loved all the classic early on and the club is amazing. Go for the dance floor, when that bass hits your chest and your feet at the same time it is out of this world.
Had a great night, roll on the next one!
Shame I had to live around 6:45 and didn't stay till the end.
Also, anyone can id that slow track with deep male vocals "I need happiness, I want happiness". Insane breakdown! Think it's on some Sat. night show as well.
And btw, underground music never dies baby, we 're just like roaches. If you're fond of sand dunes and salty air,
quaint little villages here and there ...Comment

Re: Report : Digweed @ Bedrock 10th Birthday (Matter)
guys, i have some bad news...the pics i took at the gig are toast.
was having issues with my camera a couple weeks ago and ended up replacing a memory card which i thought was the problem. turns out my camera has gone from something that takes pictures to something that fries memory cards. fun! when the guy at the sony store told me this, i literally threw the thing off the london bridge (to the extreme bewilderment of those standing around me). sincere appologies, really gutted i lost those pictures, but this just gives me another excuse to come back!
anyways...
bit more of a review
london: awesome city, really enjoyed it. i got supremely lucky with the weather (so i'm told) in that it was sunny and warm the entire time, which is not the norm for this time of year.
got to see alot of touristy stuff, but in london this usually is worthwhile. really love the architecture of the city...
sweet jesus its expensive though! from food to transportation to housing, don't know how you people afford it there!
matter: fantastic club. end of. really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't a million degrees, and that (at least on the stage area) there was plenty of room to dance. that was one of my biggest concerns about the night was that it would be so packed as to be a problem. soundsystem is world class...only thing i've heard that compares is the system at stereo in montreal. agree with the comments that the lights were too bright at times, but that was a minor detail. people were extremely friendly, and most if not all were there for the music. very, very impressed.
ps. as far as all these girls you guys mention...you didn't happen to catch any of there names? fuck if i can remember...
diggers: what can i say, the videos pretty much speak for themselves. the night was pure bliss for any digweed fan. i don't know when the next time we're gonna get to hear him play some of those tracks is...but i tell you this, i *will* be there! it definitely made it up in some small way that i never got to see him and sasha in twilo. roaches set me off like a fucking firecracker.
loved all the remixes of the classics as well, some were very well done. particularly the remix of heaven scent caught me totally off guard. i've never been as keen on that track as some, but when it came out of nowhere...talk about a moment. some muppet at the end of the show kept yelling out "heaven scent, john, heaven scent!" and he was like..."ya i already played it". the look on his face was hysterical.
all and all, a fantastic trip. we're gonna have to make this sort of thing a tradition...Comment
