    Re: question.

This is what I like to do...

Go and delete itunes library, so that when you open up itunes, it is blank..

    Then drag and drop.

Then go to "Most recently added"

Edit: Oops, that's how to burn a cd...My bad

      Re: question.

You would have to use audio editing software if you want to condense a CD with several tracks into one audio file by putting each individual track side by side and bouncing down as one file.

In iTunes, the easiest way to keep your CD together is to put the tracks in a playlist after importing. After doing that you can select all the tracks and "right-click" - "get info". You can then check the box making those tracks a compilation, and set the gap between tracks to "0 seconds" so that the playlist plays with out gaps between tracks. I name the playlist by the CD name and keep all imported CD's in a folder in my library.

Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions.

              Per itunes:

              To join tracks:

              1. Insert an audio CD into your computer's CD or DVD drive.

              2. When the songs on the CD appear in the iTunes window, select the ones you want to (hold down the Shift key to select multiple songs).

              3. Choose Advanced > Join CD Tracks.

is there anyway to use cue sheets in ipoones???

i hate the way it puts gaps inbetween the tracks but i like to differentiate between different tarcks on a cd.

u would have though the solftware would have evolved by now!!

In itunes (you need itunes 8 ) go to your Iphone or ipod and select the tracks you want to hear with out gaps.

                    Right click and select information.

Go to the options tab you should see a list of opitons the last one says Interruption free album or something like this.

Change NO to YES and there you go!
