Sasha @ Space - Up Yer Ronson Tour Aug 94

Hi All

I am new to this forum but have been djing and following Sasha since I first saw him at Kaos NYE 92. I have had many Sasha sets over the years and lost a lot on the way.

I have been searching for a particular set for ages and never found anyone with it or even many diehard fans that know anything about it. It was called Sasha @ Space - Up yer Ronson tour Aug 94 and in my opinion was one of the best sets I have ever heard. The tape was split into three section and I think each one was taken from a different night although I an not 100% sure about this. Ceratin tracks that I know were on the tape were Opus 3 - Hand in Hand / Route 66 - Revolutiuon.

I would love any info on this tape and a copy if anyone has it and would be more than happy to trade or tell any stories of the nights that all you guys love the music from so much.

chunky, scott has a set in the 2001 spot call House Mix 4-29-01. Can he share that 1 cause I dont think that sasha made any mix between March & June of 2001 because of his ear perferation!

Yeah i would like to hear that. His ear perforation just stopped him traveling long haul. It didn't stop him playing. If its genuine i would love to hear it. Saw Sasha at Homelands in the Space Arena in May 2001, he played after Tenaglia. He played the slowest set I've ever heard from Sasha. It was fucking great. So slow everyone else went to watch Digweed in the Twilo Arena for the EM.

Scott hasn't got it. I know he's been after it for some time. If i could get it it would be to pass on to Scott. 1994's not really my era, but i know he would be stoked to get it. 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2004 is more my era

Did you have an original or a copy ?

If you had an original was Sasha @ Space - Up yer Ronson tour Aug 94 written on the tape ?

Or can you remember anything about the cover of the tape box ?

Hi All

Sorry I have not been on sooner but I have been working like a bitch for the last couple of weeks. Was amazed to see that tracklist and its definately the tape I am on about.

I used to have the original and am pretty sure that I have the cover upstairs. (Will have a look and dig it out) I do not know much about the tape other than this. I know, it was split into three sections and they do not follow on from each other. This is very unlike Sasha so I have always thought that they were sections from different nights as the tape was called Sasha @ Space "Up Yer Ronson Tour" Aug 94 maybee they were the best sections from different nights of the tour.
(Just to confuse matters, a mate of mine knows the guys who put on Ronson and he reckons that they never did an Ibiza tour?)

The tape cover was printed two colour (blue & orange with a pic of Sasha in a halftone effect. If I can find it, I will scan it in and upload.

The only other bit of knowlege I have on the tape is this. I know a lot of people who have been in the scene for a long time who collect tunes. Some own record shops and others are dj's etc.. This tape is known by all of them but knowone has a copy. People always remember the tape and then say something along the lines of....

"hey Christian (that's me) do you remember he played a tune on that tape with a male vocal that said 'space and time'. Do you know what its called??"

Unfortunately I dont but continue on the hunt!

up yer ronson mayhave not have done a tour, but they done at least two seasons in ibiza in the 90's. They used to have a flyer with every dj that played for them, all around a pool looking twatted.
