That has nothing to do with anything in this thread, though, let alone with the post to which you were responding. Fact is, here's a guy raking Obama over the coals over his tax plan when Obama's tax plan is actually more favorable to him than McCain's. I gather that this dude earns somewhere around $40K, which is odd considering that he's become the standard bearer for successful small business people who earn in excess of $250K who don't want to see their taxes go up. Delusions of grandeur, IMO.

"Uh, Senator Obama, I'm pissed that you're going to tax me more on the fluke chance I'm able to increase my income six-fold, even though you're giving me a tax break now."

    Makes loads of sense.
see thats exactly what im saying toaster... it's got nothing to do with the guy... its what obama said and its exactly what iave been saying too... he is not karl marx? maybe not, but he sure borrows a lot from the guy...

the fact remains that a question was asked, obama gave a certain reply and the issue is still there... who cares who the guy is? again ill ask you... say i make over 250K and I would have asked the question. would that change the question, the answer, and the issue?

Again, this has nothing to do with the subject of this thread. You're the only one talking about Obama's response to Sam the Plumber, I'm already over it.

But yes, it would make a difference if someone actually affected in a negative way by Obama's tax policy had asked the question. Otherwise, it has a "mock outrage" feel to it, which by the way, is something the GOP has perfected.

If you make over $250K and you're pissed that Obama is raising your taxes 3% on amounts made over $250K, then hey, vote your wallet, I disagree but I understand.

For some dude that doesn't have a dog in the fight because he makes a sixth of that to be pissed off that the more well-off are getting taxed more because he'd like to be one of them one day? Sorry dude, no sale.

Jaysus dude, so much of what you say is just nonsense. I have absolutely no idea what the hell you're trying to say, what your point is, etc. Following your logic (using that term in the loosest possible sense) is both frustrating and woefully unsatisfying.

          I'm done with this thread.

i don't think anyone is really "hammering" joe, except those in the media who wish to make something out of nothing. if joe has anyone to be mad at, it would be big-mouth mccain. i sure would be if i were him.

my point is that people are discussing joe the plumber more than the issue at hand.

and what, pray tell, is the issue at hand?
you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

                    exactly.

is it not still socialism if a health care plan is cheaper than the alternative?
