^^ the unfortunate thing is that she is actually a bit of a star within the Republican party leaders' circle, and she has very sharp elbows. We probably will see her again, at least on the Senate stage.

that is true... she is a star among all of the far far right conservatives because she is as far right as you can go. frankly, i am surprised she doesnt own 10 houses and 9 cars.
ahhh... glamour and fashion, the scourge of a good portion of women. yikes, what do you expect from a right winger pally dolt?

According to her if she wins V.P. she will be running the Senate!
yes, it is an excessive amount. yes, she could have gotten by on much less. but yes, it's probably not a very substantive issue in the grand scheme of this election. Obama has like $150 million going into the final two weeks in his campaign. I'm pretty sure someone could do some digging and come up with examples of where his people could have spent in a more prudent fashion as well.
Agree 100%. In light of all the money being spent the last two years including the primaries, then this isn't that big of an issue to me.

It may not be a substantive amount in the grand scheme, but I think it is a substantive issue. It shows her gouging whatever she can get while she has the chance. Not a good look at any price!!

Yeah, 150k is excessive for clothing, and it is a waste spending that much on Palin, but let's not forget Obama's $1500 (I wonder if that suit is well within the budget of the struggling working class people? ) custom made navy blue, worsted wool two-button suit made by the Hartmarx Corp. that he wore at the DNC. For shame to be spending money on such "frivolous bullshit" as a suit like that or other sets of clothing for a lame female VP candidate when the rest of America is struggling to make ends meet. Truth is, considering the amount both Dems and Repubs are spending on their respective campaigns, this argument is pointless. It's just another ploy to dodge issues.
