    Re: Believers in Barack

Sowell's paranoia is troubling. Not because of what he asserts, but because it makes his great work questionable to the uninclined. A great thinker like himself should not devolve to be worthy of writing at the NRO or NewsMax. I think one can make a similar parallel to John McCain picking Sarah Palin.

How does Sowell get paid? He writes one article, and scores of websites and magazines PAY for his service, and he rakes in the cash. Doesn't necessarily mean he 'writes' for or subscribes to their 'agenda'. The same article will end up on jewishworldreview.com, townhall.com, nationalreview.com, capmag, etc.

    Come on man.

Now, if you have any comments that are at loggerheads to his views that are worthwhile, let's hear it.... Read them all, and then you can attack his credibility.

Look, if you're expecting me to lick sowell's balls b/c he's some god to you, I won't. I think he's got some great stuff to offer, but you seem to start quoting some of the worst stuff he's written. That's fine, and we'll just have to agree to disagree. And I'll add this, some of his worst work is being associated with other great writers; notably over at CapMag, Alex Epstein and Craig Biddle.

Ditto. Sowell is obviously a smart guy with some good ideas, but he's got the blinders on pretty heavy in other areas. I for one am not going to swallow his entire ideology without question. I won't do that with anyone's.

that may be true but it's the use and spin of it that forces the reader to now go back and question the rest of the article's grounds.

Reading this rehashed bullshit reminds me of how happy I'm going to be to see the GOP lose control of things in a couple of weeks. I'm not excited about the Dems having control of everything and am actually kinda hoping the Senate stays under 60 seats blue, but the days of the anger-filled, rage-fueled jackasses having control over anything are about to come to a screeching halt...
