almost a precursor of what Bedrock is today. Except for the new Jim Rivers release. That stuff is awesome. Even put some of it in my newest dj mix.

Jim Rivers, Christian Smith and Guy J have been putting together some great tracks ... so the label lives on.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Naive I'm afraid Didi ... you've obviously never been on the wrong end of Sasha's "reliability" over the years

Wheras Hernan (who you love), is (i) reliable and (ii) a thoroughly nice chap, was actually very kind to me and my brother's after we've been supporting him since 2000.

Basically the Black label came too late in the day, and at a time where the backlash against the darker sounds was in full effect. Digweed himself has admitted on more than one occasion that the label was really over before it started, but did allow them to release a lot of the tracks that had accumulated. It was a low point in the label's 10 year history, much like the Suicide Sports Club project he talks about in the Progressive-Sounds interview.
