it sure as hell cant get any worse than whats happened over the past 8 years

freedom and liberty are fragile things. don't ever thing that it couldn't happen again, or worse. history has proven that it does, in fact, happen time and time again. question obama with the same rigor we all had of bush. and of clinton. and of any future president of this the United States. Another Bush will come along so long as we think it could never happen again.

Epic win. Brings joy just to imagine all the triumph and vindication absorbed from last night.

To be honest, I am confident in the forthcoming years, despite all the crap this world is enduring. Stay positive, or negative nancy yoself.

guy didnt win becuase he is a leader or a good choice. he won on circumstance. its a damn shame too. this election was american idol with a lot more on the line and yet again a hack won. eh, i guess im happy we dont have to listen to toastys bullshit anymore. he follows obama like taliban follow the koran.

Barack Obama won because he is a leader and the best choice. He did not just win on circumstance. There is no shame in his victory. The Election was not "American Idol", and Obama is not a hack. You're not happy, and toasty will not stop his bullshit. While toasty may be an Obama supporter, he does not irrationally follow him in a manner akin to the Taliban's reverence of the Koran.

^hey, thx for the backup, didn't even notice the original post -- although I'm pretty sure sean's just being a dickhead to amuse himself/taking me up on my offer to rail on me, not putting a lot of stock in (or even reading, actually) anything he's writing today.

We had a run down from a lot of the world leaders last night. They were all pretty thrilled he had won and he has been talking substantive issues already with them. Great start!
