^^^with a quick and dirty response like that to dave...i am not so sure we are going to convince him to do that....i think we need somebody with some major pull to make that happen..

I even attached the pic of Steve giving the MS sticker to John, in that letter....He never even mentioned it....No offense John, but WTF is it with artists these days?? I've complimented many different artist on this or that lately, and most of the time don't even get a reply, and the rest of the time, they give you a half assed reply.... I've sent a few of my own mixes to a few artists and not one has even said, thanks, or this mix is a pile of shit, or anything...Not that my mixes are anything special... Sorry to rant, but I just feel like no one really gives a shit anymore...I feel like telling every single one of them that I have said hi to, or complimented, to fuck right off.....Sorry to rant, just annoyed..
If everyone who cares emails John *right now* to ask him to play Steve James' last session on radio as a sign of respect for his fans, I'm sure he would be more inclined...

The guy is more busy than most could handle (I know I couldn't) and probably gets a hundred e-mails a day.
I'm sure he knew Steve and I think that e-mail was respectful enough, wouldn't be too surprised about a shout out on his show either.
agreed. that john responded at all is great. what would amaze you is how many artists, 1) would have never read the email in the first place, and 2) actually responded if they did. john is a class guy, and that response was both fitting and sufficient. he knew exactly who steve was, and called him a true fan. steve would have been damn proud of that...
Yeah guys, sometimes we need to remember that Diggers isnīt known to just a couple of hundred people, heīs been in the Top 10 DJīs for years and years, he must get a shitload of e-mails every day. If itīs true that he reads all of them (and thereīs no reason to believe otherwise), then just imagine how much time that must take him.
The fact that he answered personally, in such a short time, the fact that he mentioned Jibīs presence in every Miami show and his acknowledgement of him being a true fan not only shows the kind of guy John is, but mustīve made Steve real happy.

i think that e-mail is enough and very well done by diggers.
i am not expecting him to shout out for Steve on his show... if he does, i would be very surprised.
