you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

Re: it's gonna get ugly around here

people are tired of the way things are going, tired of the fed anally raping us thru income tax, tired of having doors kicked in by the police without warrents, tired of being harassed by police for being black.

the video pretty much spells it out for you, what part are you not getting?

Uh, this was from back when Fred "The Hammock" Thompson was still a Senator. Hardly a new development. What makes you think this is suddenly going to become an issue now?

two things that are growing at record paces.

            1. arms sales
            2. militila membership

No it doesn't look very good for anybody in North America. It seems every move the Bush administration makes is always the wrong move.

^ you can stop blaming bush now and start blaming Obama. Bush is practically a dead duck at this point.

Re: it's gonna get ugly around here

the last thing we need is people taking the law into their own hands. gun sales up? just means more innocent people are going to get killed.

the militia is supposed to be a last resort to combat the government if it's turning on the people. sorry, I don't see any military force against US civilians. not even close. a few civil rights violations every now and then is nowhere near enough to justify a militia response. we had a whole civil rights movement with no militia.

he's afraid of higher taxes? join the club, buddy.

his idea of a so-called "militia" is nothing more than constitutional factionalism. and when another rival militia with different motivations or ideology comes into conflict, what then? who's the real militia? for as corrupt as the government is and has been in the past, i trust them 100 times more.

a militia group existing now is by definition extremist. at this time, domestically, the country is probably as free and persecution-free as it's ever going to be. look back in history and try to see a time where there was this low of general unrest or civil injustice. we've probably never been further from needing a militia.

people need to take a hard look and ask themselves if they really understand the problems facing the country and how guns and anger are going to solve them.

                          ^ quite true.

I don't see how peaceful actions will resolve the dogshit moves our government is making right now. I don't even know if civil disobedience will work. Government should be afraid of the people, not the people afraid of the government; nowadays, people will sacrifice whatever freedoms they have just to pander to what the government wants. Patriot Act anyone? People aren't being threatened by the government when they freely give thier rights away; but this does not mitigate the fact that rights are being taken, whether by use of fear or force. And, at some point, someone will say, like Barack, "ENOUGH".

I'm concerned LESS with the harm done to culplable government officials than with innocent people.

let me rephrase that for shits and giggles -->

you should look into your causes. destruction progresses forms at a much more accelerated pace than does stagnant petitioning.

what i mean by that is this: harm is wrong, things change(move), and peace is not necessarily the same thing as goodness.

enough with the conspiracy worries OP.

you're confusing healthy suspicion of government and action taken against intrusion with outright violent overthrow and military action. you seem to think that civility is so far gone that only military action will overturn something like the PATRIOT act?
