Back once again with a massive EP on Groovecollection Originals! This time it’s up to one half of the German duo Mashtronic. Henri Hurtig does his solo thing under the guise of Cid Inc. and proves again why he is one hell of a producer. Floor rocking beats with massive energy.
The first track on this EP is “One Word For Justice” which is a techy peaktimer with a subtle, but very energetic foundation of bass stabs and beats. Two synth lines are working together in a beautiful and teasing way to build up tension. As time progresses violins get to play their part and absolutely add their extra dramatic climaxing feel to this dancefloor oriented killer.
“Revert” is very different in its sound and arrangement as it tends to focus on the drive and groove by which it builds tension. It starts off as a German techno sounding thing with the percs and echoing fx, but soon we’ll realize this is Hurtig doing at what he does best: creating original pieces of music. Much more housy than the A-side of this release, the swelling synths bring a fair bit of energy while in the background different stabs ’n fx take “Revert” to a great climax once again.
