hey everyone.
just writing about this charity inhopes that some of you will think and either donate some time or money.
basically, it is a direct charity to feed those in need. and factoring a few things, this year is tough on everyone.
personally, i give thursday nights to a local food bank that feed about 400 families a week, and the stores are running dry.
the charity is one that puts the money to use. this isnt about researching, or putting up publicity events. they put your money to direct use. your money and time goes to feeding people. the results are there.
this year, they need it more than ever. a economic disaster has left many unemployed, the winter is going to be bitter on the homeless famlies living in cars and shelters. even the low income people who have jobs but cant afford to feed thier kids need it.

20 bucks a person can feed a couple.
50 a family
time, gets the food out the door and delivered.
we all may be fortunate enough to enjoy the likes of home cooking and the web, but the people world hunger year helps barely can keep an apartment, if that...
thanks to kamal for letting me throw this up, i hope some of you people can find it in your hearts and heads to look outside and see what and who needs help. feeding people is need #1.
