So... I finally broke down and upgraded the bedroom TV. I'd been seriously looking at the 46" 650 series from Samsung as I thought the 750 series was overkill. I went over the features and played with the monitors at a local shop and I not only ended up with a 40" but a 750 and I gotta say this thing rocks for being at a "budget" price. I got it $1200 and the built in features are pretty good. I've got it hooked up to the internet, I'm a big fan of the AutoMotion Plus 120Hz feature and streaming to it from my PC is a breeze. I recommend it.

Re: Samsung 40" LCD (LN40A750)
Update: I've had a chance to play with this a little and thought I would throw out some comments of common questions that I would see on other A/V boards. I tested the screen with the windows open and I had no glare. The picture was still incredible and I didn't have to squint or move to get a better view. The brightness is pretty damn bright. We have it down to 4 (1 the lowest and 10 the highest) and it's still bright but doesn't hurt the eyes. The AutoMotion Plus 120Hz feature has four settings. Off, Low, Medium and High. If you're looking at a low grade quality rip, you'll want the Low setting as High will look too "cartoonish". More to come later. -
