why not go for a honda pilot? it's basicaly an acura with different decals. and a bigger load.you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky
it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

I do too but other than the chick-status of the RX 350, it's tops on the Acura for nearly everything. Plus Lexus reliability is just as good as the Ac's
Its for the wife, she doesn't like the Pilots
I'm getting an M3 when its my turn for a trade-in

Your wife will likely love the Lexus RX350. Everything about that "SUV" is designed for a woman. I can't stand driving it. Its uncomfortable to sit it and drives like a mini van.
I am not saying that in an chauvinistic way, but its the truth. My mother, sister and wife all LOVE that thing. I'd rather ride my bike.It's never too late to become the person you always thought you would be.Comment

same diff, the fx35 has the modular nissan motor, 350z,g35 etc... is a very well designed engine.. it sounds amazing too. makes sense..
the 3.5 is supposedly the hot price point anyway.

And to think I was almost getting won over by the thing. It's been too much of a chick-mobile for me to give it some serious thought but oh well, they're dependable (just like acura's) and it's larger than the RDX which is why I'll probably end up with it.
I love Acura's (my old TL's still with me) but we're getting the next SUV for the long haul and with the turbo in the RDX and all, I'm doubtful of a 8+ year uneventful ownership.

the TL is just about the only Acura that i can stand looking at. The old RDX's were alright but the newer ones are just fugly as hell.

My dad has a MDX and I love it. Extremely comfortable in the front and backseats. I happen to like the Lexus on the outside better...but looks arent everything
