I am a huge fan of Nick Warren, as well as the " Back to Mine " series. It is a pretty chill cd. I usually pop it in after a night of clubbing, spliffing, or even sleeping. The Dave Seaman " Back to Mine " is also very similar. I am curious if all of those comps are the same cause they have many out these days, including one from DT.

when I was down in charlotte, NW kicked a chill Back to mine set. Very nice, but it was even nicer when he threw dow the beats.......

His last album was Global Underground 24 - Reykjavik. His Back 2 Mine album came out in 2001, two years before his latest GU. It was actually one of the first Back 2 Mine comps out, actually wait. I think it was THE FIRST one. And then Dave Seaman and Tenaglia. Yepperz.

So your question is kind of whack. Are you asking how his last album sounds? Or his back to mine comp? Well, GU 24 was very good. Disc 1 was fantastic and Disc 2 was just OK. I haven't listened to his Back 2 Mine yet. For some reason.

i loved his back to mine, was a brilliant cd.

As was tenaglia's - bloody ass shakingly sexy as hell. Wicked when u bring a lady back.

The baby crying is irritating, but it is that wicked jam & spoon dub mix of Moby - Go. Awesome :P

Where did you get this from. I just jumped on www.discogs.com and

Nick Warren has a release date of February 01 1999
Dave Seaman is May 31 1999
Danny Tenaglia release date is October 18 1999

Those were the original release dates for the first 3 all out in 1999. Seaman's mix isn't even shown as in the top in your list, not sure where u got your info.

Go here http://www.discogs.com/release/4758 for nick warren.

What exactly is the Back To Mine series? I hear two different descriptions often: one person told me it's what the people like to hear when just lounging around the house or when they're not performing. Another person told me it's basically classic stuff they used to play when first DJing. Anyone who can clarify?

Hmmm.......that is strange, I got the info from the inside cover of Nick Warren's " Back to Mine " series. Those are all of the volumes that they have listed, but maybe my copy is an import. I have no clue. That list that I did mention doesn't include Dave Seaman's comp, so I have no clue.
I went to www.DMCworld.com for more info, and you are most likely right. That is just strange what I have, but the tracklist is the same, so who knows.

I see that they also have a Tricky " back to Mine " comp. Does anyone know how that is?

It's really too bad that the Back to Mine series went off the rails. They had some really good releases.

I've always enjoyed the series up to about The Orb or Underworld's contributions, but there's been a lot of others that really disappointed me (ie. Tricky, Orbital's, New Order's), partly because they went from being a chill cd to a parade of record collections.

Btw, the Everything But the Girl Back to Mine was one of my favourites.
Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.

This is the only good Back to Mine in my opinion. It really is the only one i can listen to in one shot. The others kind of bore me or their too much at a time. Nick always amazes me anyways.
