Sasha Digweed Essential Mix from Renaissance

I know this is an old topic, but I just got around to really listening to this set. (I?m always backlogged on listening to beats)

Does anyone else think it is complete shit? If this set didn't have the big names attached to it, I wouldn't have even bothered with it twice, and sure enough after a few listens, I still think it sucks.

Those breaks are awful and the what few prog tracks are there are pretty much all played out or just not very interesting. When we first heard about this set, my comment was "I hope this set lives up to it's promise...." It did not.

Was anyone there that night? There must have been a better portion they could have used.

In the poll I am voting 3 for disappointing the shit out of me. BOOO!

It took my a while to feel diggers part but that shit would be badass to hear live. and i was impressed with sashas part. so I gave it a 10

Which part is which? The set has no real continuity to it so it is hard to tell. I thought they were just switching back and forth.

when i first listened to it i hated it. i even started a post on the old mercury board about how bad it was. the more i listened to it the more i like it. it grows on you.

i loved the 2nd part and the first part started to grow on me a lot more the more i listen to it... my vote = 9, but coulda been an 8 as well, gave them the benefit of the doubt i suppose... cheers

It was one of those sets that made me wish I was there...

For that reason I gave it an 8.

That one song "Break it down...all the way down"....MASSIVE in my opinion,..what a great party track.
