                                          Not sure I'd say it's the best ever, but I've always enjoyed The Waitresses' "Christmas Wrapping." Maybe that's because I don't hear a different version of it every hour, on the hour, for the entire month of December.

                                          Also have an odd fondness for Henry Rollins' version of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." The classic, sugary-sweet words and Rollins' delivery make for an intriguing juxtaposition. Not one you play for the young 'uns, though, for sure.

                                          If anyone has any recommendations for anything like "Merry Mixmas" -- Christmas songs with a downtempo, chilled out, trip-hop kind of sound to it -- I'd love to hear them. I recently downloaded something called "Christmas Dance" or some shit like that thinking it would be along those lines, and wow did it ever suck. Not what I was expecting at all, turned out to be throbbing trance versions of Christmas music. Ridiculous and pretty much unlistenable. Not recommended.
