i played basketball through high school and football through middle school.

i agree they are team sports but why is it that 3/4 contestants for the Heisman pretty much every year are Quarterbacks?

because thats the way ESPN wants it

if it actually went to the best college football player this year would have went to Tebow

sure his numbers werent as good as they were last year nor were they as good as Bradfords.. but look at:

1. the defencive rankings of the teams they played against... Tebow played against 10 of the top 50 defences Bradford 3
and against defences ranked 70 or worse Tebow played against 1, Bradford 8

2. Most of the Gators games were over at half time so Tebow didnt need to stay in the whole game.. how many of UF's games was he out during the 3rd or 4th quarter?

TO being TO is only part of his problem. the media is the rest. ESPN has turned sports into a soap opera. they magnify anything TO does ten fold.

i agree with this. espn chases and amplifies any story that could be any drama.

well, i mean, look at what the patriot's qb staff has done with cassell. The guy went from not playing a single game since high school to making them competitors this season. Moss is more comfortable with him and the rest of the team seems to be as well. Of course he's still a little lost in the pocket sometimes but he's growing into his position, kind of the same way Brady did years ago.
