It never fails to amaze me that despite being heavily into EDM, there are people/tracks/labels that feature in these polls that I've never even heard of. Who the fuck is the Mole? I haven't even heard the No.1 remix (and I can't find it on Beatport - link anyone?) and there are a least 2 or three of those labels that are alien to me.

Anyway...thoughts? Personal top 3's were:

Some dubstep and dub-techno names in there, which is pretty cool.

However, I´ve been telling this to a few of my friends and they hate me for it, but I think this is gonna be the next hype after people finally get bored of so called "minimal" (and we´re getting there).

Nice bias outcome. V. - Delay really brings it. "Huone" is still one of my favorite deep mnml choons.

I would have liked to see Chain Reaction and Poker Flat up there, label wise.

The labels, wow, thats a whole bunch of new labels I havnt heard.
Except i'm impressed with: Perlon,Wagon Repair, Spectral,Innervisions.. those are the dope as.

Remember, RA is more about breakthroughs, I sure as fuck dont care if Bedrock is on their list or not... its well established and doesnt need to be locked down in a poll...

I like the Matthew Johnson remix of Innercity-good love.

Dub techno is cool, but its nowhere near minimal.. peoples descriptions are poor because they cant figure out any other way to label it..
its more ambient, less groove.

But I could listen to all of it and think it's all crap anyway!

^ Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I've learned not to follow message board trends though. I have noticed a trend whereby if everyone on a messageboard is loving something, then I probably won't and vice versa. Good case in point is the recent Howells comp - everyone was all over it but I thought it was very average
