This sums up my issues with a lot of the high-tech DJ approaches these days: some of the stuff people do today is awesome, but it's now getting really hard to tell if someone is actually doing something up there or just playing an iTunes download and pretending to have an orgasm.

normally you touch more than one knob when mixing and usually CHANGE CDs OR RECORDS.

another one is gabriel and dresden. they got caught awhile dooing this.

i hate this shit, DJ's try to make everything look so complicated. shit, once you beatmatch and bring in a song there really isnt a need to touch the fucking again, you could go take a shit if the song was long ewnough.

joy division were my heroes when i was a teenager and watching that really made me wonder wtf?
maybe rather than expect to fool people they should be more upfront and bill it as "ageing bass player feigning electrocution"
