Re: FAO Shiva
Check out the ones on MCAST - Preserve the Essence sets. There's usually a Shiva mix and guest mix. They're all excellent, but the one I've been rocking out to recently is PTE 10. A masterpiece!!Comment

Re: FAO Shiva
Shiva is amazing because she not only plays the most gorgeous, dark progressive sets (thanks Mcast) but also hangs around in the forum, listening and corresponding to her fans. Unlike most other - higher than thou - DJs. This while being a supermodel, well fucking done.
Really hope to see her play live in South Africa soonComment

Re: FAO Shiva
I´m a mod at a local EDM forum and we´ve put together a few events in the last 3 years, usually with DJ´s from the forum, and while we´re usually more tech-house oriented, I haven´t given up on setting up a dark progressive/tech event, and be sure that I´d love to have Martin Garcia/Kintar/Shiva event.
I don´t even care for not making money out of it or losing some of it, I just think the local scene needs to hear these people.Comment

I like the [MS] community and I am just being myself; I think it would be rude to ignore fans that take their time to write me few words... I don't like to be rude to people. (Giving...is receiving! )
Looking forward to playing in South Africa one day, already had several requests for that part of the world...

Martin Garcia/Kintar/Shiva...WOW!!!
From Lebanon to Portugal, I would make the trip swimming all the way to Portugal for such a lineup
You know where to find me.
Thank you.

Pic taken last week during a gig in Jordan... I think it has the right ingredients:
Dark & Sexy. Thought of sharing it:
Oh yea, the lighter
I always need a lighter when I play coz I ask for the place to be dimmed to maximum possible, and most of the time it gets really in a dark mood, so I need a lighter to seeComment

^ 100% when it comes to money, as far as I am concerned it never came to that... it's all about passion and love for music . But you are a promoter and I am an artist so I don't know if the concept matches...lol

Anyway, we´ve had a few conversations about escalating these activities, and we have a very close connection with the guys from PSP (Progressive Sounds of Porto), who brought here names like Patrick Zigon (this NYE), M.O.S., Darko Esser, Kasey Taylor, D-Nox & Beckers, etc.
They have a very old-school approach to this, the point is never about making money from the parties, but about HAVING a real party, and many times they use unusual spots like abandoned convents and stuff like that.
Here´s their MySpace : http://www.myspace.com/progressivepsp
So I think there is definitely room to setup something more serious in a near future, and since we´re all basically sick and tired of the whole minimal scene that´s prevailing over here, we´ve thought about a line-up like that.
So there you go, as I´ve been thoroughly impressed by your work for months now, and I think you´d fit in perfectly and names like Kintar and Garcia also fit like a glove, I definitely look forward to be able to set this up sometime soon, so maybe we´ll talk further in a near future.Comment
