Problem with download

I have just downlaoded the latest mix but i cannot change the file extension from .exe to an mp3. When i try i get a message saying that the file is in use by other programmes. I also cannot delete the programme due to the same message. I have rebooted my computer and still no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

assuming you are on an xp machine.....

start> folder options > uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

then try renaming it :wink:

its not that problem, just checked. The full message that i get is "cannot delete ....... It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again".

I have no other programs open and still wont delete.

try changing the file to .mp3 BEFORE the d/l starts. put quotes around the entire file name (ie - "whatamidoing.mp3") to make sure nothing gay happens. or just follow e's link. may the force be with you.

try maybe touse totalcomander for changing the extension, noproblem so far for me
