I've been searching around the pioneer site US and found the Djm700 which looks sweet and wanted to ask you guys which one would you choose,,,the 800 costs 2100usd and the 700 1600usd ...not too many differences regarding the specs as shown on their site.

Re: Djm800 vs Djm700
That's what i thought ...i mean if the spec differences are no big deal then why spend $500 dollars more for a bigger display screen...or whatever more the 800 has... Thanks Dj jellyComment

Re: Djm800 vs Djm700
Not to hijack this thread, but why would you seriously spend $1600 for the 700 when you could get the Xone 92 for around $1300.
I would really consider this mixer. I actually went from the 700 to owning a Xone 92 and the sound quality/feel is night and day IMO.
If you're a pioneer type person, then I guess you'd go with the 700.Comment

Re: Djm800 vs Djm700
Not a pioneer type of a person really. i have an old vestax pcv275 which im really happy with it (solid mixer IMO) but its time for me to get a better mixer with the effects etc and better sound quality.
i think you got a point here about the Xone92 Homs. I actually thought it would be much more expensive than the 700 . Not going to buy this in Xmas though but later on will sureley invest for a new mixer.
Thanks broComment

Re: Djm800 vs Djm700
I have an Xone:92 and a Pioneer DJM-800. The 800 is better to be honest, it's tailored to the work with the Pioneer Products; DJM 800/HDJ-2000 etc. I would go for the DJM-700 though. As my DJM-800 has these four useless blue buttons i never use.I live for the look on your face....Comment

Re: Djm800 vs Djm700
was just at Guitar Center yesterday and they had the DJM800 for 1400 i think it was.
But personally I don't think I've seen a dj who really uses everything the 800 has to offer. And most things you would wanna do...the 700 can do just beautifully.Comment
