Actually there is a ton of places to go to hear live dj's and such. Friday nights at Tabu in downtown my crew puts on the music. This month we are having some big names like DJ Dan, Richie Hawtin, and Oakenfold.
Other spots:
Escape
Martini Blu
Imperial Room
The Lounge
These places are all downtown by the way. I hope this helps and if want more ideas or specifics keep this thread going. I will be happy to help!
Going to be in MN on company business all next week...
who's been there, what the fuck am i going to do to entertain myself?
Attractions, bars, gimmie gimmie gimmie.
I know, not exactly the hub activity in MN, which is why i'm asking for advice.
If you're looking to hear some good beats......Josh Wink is playing at Tabu on Fri. 25th. I think it's $15 or less. If you're looking for a place to catch a drink try Brit's Pub or anything in the uptown area.
For if you do it right you'll find the moment never ends. -phish
During the weekend Block E is the place you want to be.. around that area you'll find the typical top 40 bars with people everywhere.. but if you want to keep to the good music.. then check out the places already listed... Tabu, escape etc.
happy trails
