just got done watching this movie and I thought it was great. I was thinking the same thing that clever mentions below... after giving her up for as long as he did you'd think he wouldn't have had the strong feelings for her, whether they were feelings of love or friendship.

I'm giving it a solid 9.

My problem with the movie was before Ashton went back in time, he never thought about that girl. Then he became fixated on her as if she was his long lost love, but present day he never thought about her.

good that people are talking about this movie cause i just saw it a couple of days ago, its a great movie indeed, weird and very forward thinking, u really have to get some views to it to understand it all, it makes me remember donnie darko and the i inside. 9\10

Enjoyable but rather over rated, absolutely riddled with plot flaws. Not really that clever, I think the fun element comes in imagining if you could change your path and also wishing that he would end up with the bird when she's a super fly hottie.

i dont think that ashtons character didn't think about the girl in the present time ..he did love her when he was a kid, but you grow up and those feelings change... when people are confronted with a loss, feelings of what if come about..in this case he felt he loved her what if?. i think more than him wanting to end up with her, he was trying to change her path so she didn't end up leading the shitty life she was leading and ultimately killing herself. it was bound to happen weather he visited or not

If I had the ability to change the past world I would definitly be using it to get some fly honeys, oh and stopping wars and stuff that would probably be important too.

I think the moral of the story is 'don't be messing wit shit that don't concern you'
