      Listen to this all the time. Great mix, stand out cd out of the 3, although i like cd 3 also.

        In love this CD ... the music's so diverse and well put together.

        He was never going to be able to top his Bedrock CD, and it's great that JVM tried something different.

        This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

          Yep, no way to ever to top that Bedrock mix. I remember when i bought it how blown away i was. Its still one of my top 10 cds ever

            Cd2 is definitely the best of the 3. I can't seem to get bored of it.

            Cd3 did not do it for me whatsoever.

                honestly thought it was not good at all and a major downer.

                for someone who is supposed to dig for music?? the "downtempo/midtempo" tracks are mostly major tracks.... i have heard mixes that blew his away.

                  Not quite I've enjoyed all the Balance albums right from 001.

                  cd3 just didn't do it for me at all. I was expecting something more deep.

                    Fair point. However, I think the point of the first two cds was to utilise back catalogues as well. Music that meant something back in the day. I guess most of them you'll recognise.

                    None the less, this is either a "love or hate" album.

                    Although, I love the first 2 cds but hate the third
