I've been playing Chris's Thump Radio'04 and Kiss100 sets today.
He's definately up there with the best of them ... pity he seldom makes it to England.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
went to see him last night and he was amazing. brilliant set and brililant night organised by collective music in a great venue and I got myself a signed copy of balance 007
Been listening to this CD all week....just hasn't grabbed me at all....extremely disappointed by the Tech-House path he's jumped into, not at all what I was expecting from the Balance Series or Fortier....
CD 1 just noodles around, 30 or 40 minutes in it starts to come together, flow a little better.....CD2 is much better, good tunes, good build, great flow, still pretty tech-y but this I can listen to and will play again....
CD3 !!!.....didn't make it past that track "Rock your body to the beat" crap....WTF was that?
and what was it doing in there?....Sh*t like that was painful in the 90's...what's he doing...taking the piss?......................CD3 will not see that light of day again...................
Anyway, glad I bought it....be warned though, tech-house is where he's at...........
Man CD3 is amazing. This is some weird experimental stuff if you compare it to other mixes by Fortier. Anyways i think this release is amazing. Been listening to it a lot. Great stuff. Great flow, and great songs i wouldnt normally pick up
