Yellowstone is really superb if you go up to the highest continental divide and
you look at the stars. It was the first time i actually saw the milky way galaxy
pretty insane how many stars there are.
Oh yeah, beware of Wall Drug (in the middle of south dakota). One hell of a tourist trap with not much to offer! When you get closer to the dakotas, you'll completely understand why I'm saying this.

Thanks alot for the info guys, I wish that I was driving with another person, but it still should be good. I need a break and a breather, planning on stopping in Denver for a bit, and maybe checking out some clubs.
Keep the info coming,
thanks alot jaime, I'll be in touch

Hey, has anyone driven from coast to coast lately? I'll be heading to California from Boston next week, and have decided to have some fun and check out the states. I was thinking flying and then renting a car, but finding a rental car seems to be freakin' expensive.
Is anyone familiar with any sites that gives you detailed directions with lodging along the way, and possibly gas prices? I haven't found much on mapquest or mapblast. I know that I will be taking Rt-80 all the way.
thanks,
glad to see ms back
