was thinking of staying in but my best friend leaves for ohio state university on friday, so we are throwing a massive kegger of awesomeness on new years eve. if anyone is down to chat on the fone near midnight or weneva, just holler up. id be thrilled.

Keeping it low key : not a fan of NYE - tons of once a year drinkers and crap songs ... or criminally expensive entry, crap bills and treble clock on the taxi home.
Boxing Day was a fine send off to 2008 ... unless any good bills come up I'll be keeping it credit-crunch-conscious until Easter Bedrock.sigpicSimonR

well its my Friday today! Dont return to work till next week Monday and then I have that following Friday off again... I have a total of 50 days off for 2009!
Anyway!... Going to a Sushi restaurant for NYE.. all you can eat and all you can drink!! sake bombs!!!!! Going with the Wife and her brothers and cousins.
All my friends are doing different things.. 2nd year doing this, dont think I'll do it for 09.

My wife is coming off a flu, so for the first time in a long time, I'll be doing absolutely nothing this evening. I'd love to at least whip up a nice meal or something to commemorate the evening in some small way, but she's still trying to integrate solid food into the fold, so that's not really an option, either.
Looking to be a non-event at Casa de Toasty this evening. 'Tis fine, though -- haven't really made a big deal out of NYE for a few years, which reminds me of this post from last year's NYE thread:
