I see this thread is still alive...

I don't care what all you clowns out there say, it DOES make a hell of a difference when the live dj takes some artistic risk and actually PERFORMS LIVE as he/she used to (and as a real musician does)... as opposed to now when they just use Sync and MIK and fake molest a few mixer knobs.

Sure, it may sound "flawless", but so does the goddamn cd I bought at the store. That is NOT a real live performance.

If he/she is not bringing anything new to the game in exchange for letting the computer take over more and more, then the "dj" might as well stay home and just let the computer do everything. It can handle everything just fine without any help.

I agree, as long as you are bring something more to table than just mixing from one track to another I'm all for it.

What Traktor has done is allow DJ's to do the things they've always wanted to do and try but just wasn't feasible with the traditional two decks and a mixer set up.

More than anything it's allowing themselves to be more expressive as a DJ and to bring them that much closer to their vision of what they want to accomplish.

Lol you guys might find this funny but I actually used beat sync last night for the first time...I never knew it worked so well lol. I immediately assumed its as shit as it was on traktor 2 lol...

I was like why the hell is everyone talking about syncing songs when it never works properly and sounds like shit...and then I tried it lol so fucking easy. I was like working on four decks with the computer syncing only two...this is gonna usher a new era in my mixing lol. i can't believe i am such an idiot!
