A Dj who gets all tied up in the number of different noises he can make rather than how danceable the music is, has lost me. !! I really don't like standing around on the dance floor while you twiddle your knobs.

Agreed, but how is that any different to a person in the crowd getting all tied up about how often the dj looks out at them from the booth or whether the dj is using his fingers to press the cue button on a cdj or press buttons on a midi controller?

Both as bad as one another I suppose. But I really don't care what people in the crowd do as long as I have room to dance. But we were talking about what the Djs do. The crowd isn't being paid to entertain.

It's like wanting a 76 corvette over a brand new one. Sure the newer one is faster, has cooler gadgets and is more driver friendly, but there's just something about the older car that makes you go mmmm.....
