whats the difference between using time coded cds with serato or traktor scratch, and using cds you burnt?

nothing! other than you have ALL your music at your disposal on a HD.. this is more about having access to all your music rather than having to keep burning cds, which is a pain in the ass, plus every now and again you get a bad burn.. if you catch it at home thats one thing but if youre in a hurry and find out in a club that sucks, lol

That's my view on Serato and Traktor. Agree 101%

At least with Serato and Traktor, you are able to control and/or manipulate using decks or cdj's.

^^Serato has looping of 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32.

Pretty sure that Traktor has looping too.

There are some great dj's like holden or Digweed that hardly ever look at the crowd i'm sure it wont even make a difference



I hear from a lot of people that Lawler is back

It does make a difference to a lot of us, in fact it was a topic of discussion I had with some Aussie Djs on Thursday night. It's also why I didn't enjoy Radioslave as much as I thought I would. Also why I thought Simon Baker was great!! I want to feel the Dj is with us! I have probably said this before , but I really love seeing good Djs responding to the crowd. That's why Digweed isn't one of my favourite djs. Probably shouldn't say that here

I thought Lawler was back and then found out we were actually listening to Pole folder for most of the supposed Lawler set. I used to love Lawler and I listen to most of his stuff now just to see if he is back , haven't heard anything I like for a long time
